CASA asks for $3,500 to continue free victim and child advocacy services in Chase County

Ses told commissioners CASA provided 107 services to Chase County residents in 2025, including crisis intervention, advocacy, prevention education and child-advocacy supports. The program provides services at no cost to clients and partners with schools on prevention programming.
"We respectfully request $3,500 to keep supporting Chase County and ensure that these services ... continue," Ses said. Commissioners said the request would be considered as they develop the county budget over the coming months and asked the presenters to provide any needed follow-up documentation.
No formal action was taken; commissioners noted the request for consideration during the budget process.
