Elkin board backs NCDOT plan to remove Market/Church traffic signal, requests 30-day flashing-red trial during school

Town staff will draft and send the requested letter to NCDOT.
The board discussed seeking comments from the school community; no formal vote or resolution was recorded in the meeting minutes beyond the board's agreement to request the temporary flashing-red operation and to follow up with community feedback.
