Zeeland City Council and Board of Public Works receive BPW Integrated Resource Plan update and power-supply presentations

The presenters reviewed the BPW’s planning update and the utility’s approach to near-term power-supply needs and strategy (details of technical proposals and timelines were presented to the joint meeting).
No formal policy votes or ordinance actions were taken during the session. After the presentations and closing remarks, a motion was made and supported to adjourn the work/study session at 8:10 p.m.; the motion was approved, with all voting aye. The meeting record lists attending city council members as Mayor Van Dorp III, Mayor Pro Temp Gruppen, Lam, Timmer, Langeland, Perkins and Bult; Board of Public Works attendees included Chair Boerman, Vice Chair Cooney, Query and Walters (Commissioner VanAst was recorded as excused).
