Director Cooney moved and Director Westbrook supported approval of the amended FY2027 budget after removing mid‑term changes and setting the total risk management consulting fee at $22,000; the motion carried unanimously. Director Cooney then moved and Director Westbrook supported a motion to review and accept the DFIS report of examination, the accompanying management letter, and the plan of compliance; that motion carried unanimously. The board approved the insurance renewals as presented after a motion from Director Cooney and a second from Director Boatright; the motion carried unanimously. Director Boatright also moved and Director Cooney supported approval of the memorandum of coverage and rider 1; that motion carried unanimously.
On leadership and administrative matters, Director Boatright moved and Director Cooney supported electing Bob Mulder as Vice Chair/Treasurer; the motion carried unanimously. Director Cooney moved and Director Westbrook supported authorizing Bob Mulder as a Bank of Indianapolis signer; the motion carried unanimously.
Andrew Khosrofian of Diamond Capital Management provided an investment review for the board as an informational item, and City of Zeeland Assistant City Manager/Finance Director Kevin Plockmeyer provided a day‑to‑day operations review. The board received and filed the financial statements on a motion by Director Boatright, supported by Director Westbrook; that motion carried unanimously.
