Council approves Circle K liquor license for new Navajo Boulevard location

Deputy Clerk Jackie presented an application for Circle K store number 9701 and told council the proposed store would be located at 101 Navajo Boulevard and that public notices had been posted for 20 days.
"Circle K number 9701 has requested a license for their store located or will be located at 101 Navajo Boulevard," Deputy Clerk Jackie said.
Council members asked a few clarifying questions about whether the new location would replace an existing store; staff said the new store is expected to be completed in August. A motion to approve the liquor license was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The council chair announced the motion passed.
The license application materials and state-required documentation will be completed by the applicant before state issuance.
