Committee OKs seasonal no-parking on 4th Street to aid snow plowing

Darren, city engineering staff, confirmed the restriction would run Nov.1 through Apr.1 on the east side between 121 4th Street and Madison; parking would remain allowed on the west side. A committee member asked about resident parking capacity; staff said off-street or nearby parking would accommodate residents.
A motion to adopt the seasonal no-parking was made, seconded and passed on voice vote with ayes recorded (Greg, Payne, Matthews). Staff will implement signage changes and coordinate enforcement with police as needed.
