Deuel County hires deputy auditor, signs roofing contract, denies lien write-off and OKs parade and warrants

The board approved closing streets for the Gary Fourth of July parade and approved payment of warrants and vendor claims read into the record. Payroll totals for April and May were reported; notable payroll line items included Road & Bridge ($86,255.23 in April; $77,779.34 in May) and the Sheriff’s Department ($52,525.36 in April; $50,382.71 in May).
With no further business, the commissioners adjourned the meeting.
