Advisory board unanimously retains current officers
Summary
At the June 9 meeting the advisory board moved and seconded to retain the current chair, vice chair and secretary; the motion passed by voice vote with all present voting 'aye.'
During the June 9 meeting the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board conducted its election of officers. A board member moved to keep the current officers "as volunteered," Trammell made the motion and Mr. Koester seconded. The board voted by voice; the chair announced the motion carried after all present members said "aye." No opposing votes were recorded.
The motion was procedural and no changes to board governance or officer duties were proposed at the meeting.
The board then proceeded to the good-of-the-order portion of the agenda and adjourned on a motion and second.
