"She's effective straight away and she's not the kind ... just scrolling for grants," one commissioner said during discussion of the contract.
Separately, the board interviewed and then appointed Levi Clark and George Anne Brown to the Hospital Foundation Board for staggered terms ending June 30, 2026 and June 30, 2027, respectively. Both candidates described connections to local banks and prior nonprofit or board experience during brief interview remarks; commissioners thanked them for volunteering.
