Commission approves cybersecurity services, IT warranty and several contracts including inmate phone service

Commissioners approved a Montana Association of Counties (MACO) Cybersecurity & Technologies Services agreement at $149.70 per month; the service includes transitioning county emails from a .org to a .gov domain. The board also approved a one-year server warranty update with DIS Technologies for $1,900.00, and a contract with Electro Controls for HVAC installation and programming at $1,977.00.
For public safety technology, the board approved encryption licenses and associated installation for the Sheriff’s Department totaling $14,000.50. Separately, the commission approved a contract with Reliance Systems for inmate SMS and phone service under which inmates are charged $0.21 per minute and the county will receive 35% of that charge.
