On fees, Ryder said the daily permit rate is $7 for residents and nonresidents, a seasonal resident pass is $10 and seasonal nonresident $60; the town planned to activate online purchase capability within about a week. "Word just went out today. We will be activating the ability to purchase those very soon," he said.
The commission also discussed limited early access for fishing and the need to monitor trash and site condition if gates are opened outside staffed hours. Ryder recommended debriefing after the season to reconsider fee structures and operational details.
