Parent reads petition opposing generative AI use in Norman classrooms

Board members did not respond to public comment during the time allotted; the board later addressed related questions during consent-agenda discussion about program subscriptions that 'use AI.' The administration said a formal AI policy is in progress and that contracts would be revisited if a policy later constrained existing subscriptions.
