Park City Fishing Derby to mark 15th year June 20 at Chisel Point Pond

At the June 9 council meeting, George Glover provided an update on the 15th annual Park City Fishing Derby scheduled for June 20 from 9–11 a.m. at Chisel Point Pond. Glover said organizers will hand out gold medallions to the first 100 children ages 4–12 to commemorate the event.
Volunteers are invited to help with setup beginning at 8:00 a.m. and registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Glover encouraged residents to attend and noted the event has been held annually for 15 years.
Councilmembers thanked Glover and asked about date details and volunteer needs; the mayor and council encouraged community participation.
