Park City Council authorized the mayor to execute a contract with APAC Kansas, Inc. (Shears) for the Randall Street portion of the 2026 street rehabilitation program at a cost not to exceed $337,515.
Staff reported that two companies submitted bids for the Randall Street work and APAC Kansas submitted the low bid of $337,515, which was below the engineer's estimate of $381,700. The project scope as presented includes work on Randall Street (from Charleston to Front Neck) and other street segments in the 2026 program.
A councilmember moved to approve the bid tabulation and authorize contract execution; the motion, moved by Jim and seconded by Charlie Davidson, passed on a unanimous voice vote, 7-0. The project will be paid from the capital projects fund as budgeted.
Staff included the bid tabulation and contract in the meeting packet; the city will finalize contract documents and schedule work with the contractor under the terms presented.
