Council approves Broadway Crossing final plat for nearly 200 residential lots

Park City Council on June 9 approved the Broadway Crossing final plat, clearing the way for a mixed residential development on 66 acres south of 69th Street North and west of Broadway.
Russ Ay's, subdivision administrator, told council the site contains 66 acres and envisions just under 200 residential lots, including the possibility of apartment development. He noted the north 44 acres were annexed in January and that the combined property is being considered for a tax increment finance district. "This final plat of Broadway Crossing was approved by the planning commission on March 16th, 6 to zero," Russ said.
Councilmembers had no further questions and moved to approve the final plat as presented and per staff comments. The motion passed on a unanimous voice vote, 7-0.
The approval authorizes staff to proceed with conditions and requirements outlined in the staff report; the applicant and surveyor were present for questions during the council meeting. Any further steps, including engineering approvals or TIF decisions, will follow standard planning and permitting processes.
