Murphy said the plan would be handled as a single ordinance covering five separate vacations and five deeds. He emphasized that no cash is changing hands: the city would accept dedications while the developer completes required improvements and landscaping scheduled in the MOA.
Murphy said the minor subdivision and associated reviews are complete and that next steps include first reading of the vacation ordinance and formal MOA consideration at an upcoming meeting. Representatives for the property owners—joined at the work session by Rick Weaver—addressed details of the frontage and the sequencing of deeds and plat recording.
If approved, staff said the work would be recorded in sequence: ordinances, deeds and then the plat, with landscaping complete by Nov. 15 per the draft MOA.
