"We are a public rental marketplace online," Brady said, describing Facilitron's scheduling and reservation portal, its insurance verification service, and a field app for work orders and preventive maintenance. She said the implementation is turnkey and typically takes six to eight weeks, and that Facilitron operates on a service‑fee model (no upfront cost; the vendor takes a commission on each reservation).
Board members asked about the contract's minimum guarantee and whether district internal uses (for example, school sports schedules) would be protected from public booking. Brady explained that internal calendars can be entered by site staff so those times block public reservations; she said the minimum guarantee is structured so revenue from reservations reduces the net amount owed from an annual minimum.
The Finance director had introduced the platform and recommended placing the Facilitron agreement on the consent calendar for consideration; the item was included on the consent agenda later in the meeting.
