The board also adopted a resolution authorizing a road closure for the 2026 Homecoming Parade scheduled for Oct. 9, 2026. Motion 82/25-26, moved by P. Marietti and supported by A. Watt, passed by the same recorded unanimous vote of members present.
Separately, the board approved the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) 2026-2027 membership resolution (motion 83/25-26), effective Aug. 1, 2026 through July 31, 2027, and approved amendments to the Oakland County School Boards Association (OCSBA) bylaws and an OCSBA spring resolution (motions 84/25-26 and 85/25-26). Each motion was moved and seconded as recorded in the minutes and carried by the members present.
