Rothschild board approves Oct. 14 minutes and licenses, adjourns after five-minute meeting

Village President Dan Helgeson called the Village of Rothschild board to order at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 28, 2024, with seven trustees present and Administrator Ryan VanDeWalle and Clerk Elizabeth Felkner in attendance.
The meeting included a brief board announcement in which Trustee Paul Kennedy thanked Clerk Elizabeth Felkner and her staff for their work preparing for the General Election. No members of the public spoke during the requests and statements from the audience portion of the agenda.
The board approved two sets of minutes from Oct. 14, 2024. Dan Mortensen moved to approve the Administrative Meeting Minutes and the Village Board Meeting Minutes of Oct. 14, 2024; Bill Schremp seconded the motion, which carried 7–0.
Under the clerk’s report, Bill Schremp moved to approve the applications, licenses and permits submitted; Paul Kennedy seconded. The motion passed unanimously, recorded as 7–0.
Sam Stroik moved to adjourn the meeting; Bill Schremp seconded and the motion carried 7–0. The meeting adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
