Greenbelt and Neighbors for Nature to coordinate with Open Space Committee on Hoyt walks and outreach

Dawn Ackerman reported on Neighbors for Nature's advocacy activities and the committee agreed to add a link to N4N's Facebook page on the OSC webpage and to post events from N4N that relate to OSC initiatives. The committee also agreed to ask Neighbors for Nature to name a representative to participate on the OSRP advisory group to ensure community input during the planning process.
For outreach at town events, Sue Simmons will update the OSC webpage and Lucy Abisalih will draft a new update about activity at Emery St. Fields. Committee members proposed co-locating the OSC booth with Neighbors for Nature and Green Energy at Old Home Days as a joint public-engagement strategy.
Next steps: the committee will add the N4N link to the OSC webpage, request a named representative for the OSRP advisory group, and coordinate outreach plans for the Greenbelt walks and Old Home Days booth.
