Commission defers decision on 217 Hebron Road residence, requests drainage and erosion-control details

The Bolton Inland Wetlands Commission discussed application IW-26-1, a proposal by Harrison Gray to construct a three-bedroom raised-ranch residence with an attached garage at 217 Hebron Road. The proposed house is in the upland review area and would share an existing driveway among three lots.
Wetlands Agent Alyssa Barroso presented the application and noted the basic project parameters. Commissioners focused on drainage and erosion-control measures: they requested more detail on the existing curtain drain and the proposed drain work (including the drain pitch and confirmation that the outlet functions properly); they requested details on erosion and sediment controls during construction and asked that silt fence be installed and maintained, with an additional silt-fence location added at the map location labeled '529.' Commissioner James Loersch explicitly asked for more information on the curtain drain and pitch; Member Michael McDonnell also requested confirmation the curtain drain is functioning.
Because technical details about the curtain drain and silt-fence installation were not available at the Feb. 24 meeting, the commission deferred further review of IW-26-1 to its next regular meeting and asked staff and the applicant to provide the requested information prior to the March meeting.
