Bailey said the proposal lists budgeted revenues of $115,474,622 and expenditures of $93,843,356, which would reduce the working fund balance to $21,640,266. She reviewed highlights and answered council questions, and said a list of planned 2025 projects is in the packet and will be discussed at a special meeting on April 2.
The council took no final vote on the budget at the meeting; the proposal received a first reading. The city clerk and finance staff will make the proposal available for review before a scheduled public hearing and second reading at the April 15 council meeting.
