In commissioners’ comments, staff and members reported roughly eight houses currently under construction within the city, and discussed lot constraints that have required some builders to combine or split parcels. On the Kmart property, staff said the most recent purchaser had not announced a development timeline; staff noted the master plan concept had been shared with prospective purchasers but there was no new public application at this time.
