Rezoning: On final reading the council adopted Ordinance 2026-09 (ZA-2601) rezoning a 2.27-acre parcel at 8170 Kingston Street to C2 commercial zoning to allow a gymnastics facility and tenant space. Planning staff noted the plan commission’s favorable 5–0 recommendation; council discussed permitted uses and the site’s dumpster location before voting to adopt the ordinance on final reading.
