A motion to proceed with the contract was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. One member noted the item had been pending for over two years and the approval will get it "off the list." Staff said the state would not perform box-cover work until downstream cleanup was completed.
The board directed staff to proceed with contract administration and coordinate required state and landowner contacts before construction.
