Superintendent Wendy Sinette thanked volunteers and staff for the passage of Measure LCF, noting staff estimates that the bond passed at about 64.56% and will support roughly $113 million in facility improvements while making the district eligible for up to $50 million in state matching funds. “It was a huge victory,” Sinette said, calling the measure a major investment in school facilities.
David Rose, chair of the parcel tax oversight committee, reviewed Resolution 61920 and presented the committee’s findings and revenue estimate for 2025–26: an estimated $2,797,960 based on a $5,161 per‑parcel assessment across 5,416 parcels. The committee reported that expenditures align with the measure’s stated purposes, including class-size reductions and staffing supported by parcel tax revenue. The board voted to accept the parcel tax committee report.
Scott Hoffman, chair of the Measure LCF Citizens Bond Oversight Committee, reported that quarterly reviews and audits found bond funds were spent only on voter‑approved projects and that ongoing projects remain on schedule and within budget. The board voted to accept the bond oversight annual report.
Board members praised volunteers and campaign leaders and committed to transparent stewardship of bond and parcel tax funds; staff will continue to report project updates to the oversight committee and the board.
