Council hears briefings on Denton County/TxDOT projects, FY2024–25 audit and FY2025–26 CIP

Louis Breedlove, the town auditor, presented the Fiscal Year 2024–25 audit. The audit acceptance itself was included and approved on the consent agenda earlier in the meeting (Resolution No. 2636). Breedlove’s briefing was informational and the minutes do not record additional council direction.
Finance Director John Thomson provided an update on the FY2025–26 Capital Improvement Program, which the council received as presented. Staff noted the CIP update was for council information and planning rather than immediate action.
