Winslow students celebrated; district to move to digital graduation program and offer summer meals

Superintendent remarks during the report portion included logistics for upcoming ceremonies: eighth-grade moving-up is scheduled for June 17 at 6 p.m., and the high-school graduation is scheduled for June 18 at 6 p.m. The district will pilot a digital graduation program and provide each graduate and family with a full program digitally while supplying a one-page guide for attendees.
The superintendent also announced the district’s participation in a summer food-service program (breakfast, lunch and snacks) for children in the community beginning in late June and continuing into early July; meals will be served on-site at designated locations and provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
The board applauded student accomplishments and noted staff and coach recognition for sustained athletic and academic performance.
