Commissioners thanked Road & Bridge and county maintenance staff for recent work on tree trimming, bus‑route safety, and building leak repairs; staff noted a backup water pump for the sheriff's office had arrived and is scheduled for installation.
On a separate matter, commissioners discussed a fee‑waiver request from Fort Kingman Entertainment for the Konhunto Fest scheduled Sept. 4–5, 2026. Commissioners expressed concern that the organizers have not established a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and lack sufficient financial reporting; the court recalled the pending motion and then voted to table the item until the June 22 meeting to allow organizers to present documentation.
The court also approved an elections administrator request to use the county credit card to pay hotel expenses for the Secretary of State conference in Round Rock; the auditor's office had reviewed the request and documentation was on file.
The court adjourned after completing the agenda.
