At its May 28 meeting the Lake Forest Board of Education approved second readings of multiple board policies and adopted routine personnel and school choice recommendations.
The policies considered as second readings included DA (fiscal management goals/priority objectives), DBG (budget adoption), DBI (budget implementation), DEA (funds from local tax forces), DGA (authorized signatures), DIA (accounting system), DIC (financial reports and statements), DIE (audits), DKC (expense authorization/reimbursements), IKF (graduation requirements) and JIE (pregnant students). Trustees said there were no modifications during the session and approved the items by voice vote.
Following policy approvals, the board moved, seconded and unanimously approved the personnel report and later approved school choice recommendations (resolution 10.1) by voice vote.
The board recorded the motions and votes during the meeting; chair and trustees offered brief positive remarks about end‑of‑year events before adjourning.
