At its April 28 meeting the Kennebunk Select Board approved routine consent items, accepted two memorial donations totaling $150 for Kennebunk Fire Rescue, announced staff changes, and dedicated the 2025 Annual Town Report.
The consent agenda, moved by Select Board member Lisa Pratt and seconded by Karen Plattes, included approval of the April 14, 2026 meeting minutes and acceptance of donations: $50 from Richard Bond and $100 from Linda Johnson in memory of Retired Captain Raymond Ingalls Jr.
Chair Miriam Whitehouse announced Katie King was hired as Administrative Assistant in the Community Development Division effective April 27; Jocelyn Nerney will resign as Board Clerk effective May 1; and Richard Boucher will resign as Director of Information Services effective June 30. The board voted to dedicate the 2025 Annual Town Report to Roger W. Ellenberger and Shiloh A. Schulte; the motion by Lisa Pratt passed 7-0.
Separately, staff summarized Massachusetts Municipal Association (sic) nomination materials from the Maine Municipal Association for its Legislative Policy Committee and noted nomination forms are due by 5 p.m. on June 4; Select Board member William Ward said he is considering continuing in that role but his elected term ends June 30 and he may apply to continue as a volunteer if appointed to a town committee.
