The Kennebunk Select Board voted unanimously on April 28 to appoint Select Board member Lisa Pratt as one of the town's representatives to the Southern Maine Planning and Development Commission (SMPDC) General Assembly.
Staff noted Kennebunk is entitled to three General Assembly seats and that Chris Osterrieder serves on the SMPDC Executive Committee and fills one of those seats. Lisa Pratt said she was interested in representing the town. Miriam Whitehouse moved the appointment; William Ward Jr. seconded and the board voted 7-0 to approve the appointment.
The SMPDC provides regional planning services including transportation, economic development and climate-related planning for member communities; the minutes do not record a term length for the General Assembly appointment.
