On Feb. 4, 2025 the Longswamp Township Planning Commission considered the Wenger & Zimmerman minor subdivision. William Schwanke of Larson Design Group represented the applicant and referred to the HEA Final Plan Review Letter dated Jan. 31, 2025.
The commission reviewed SALDO-related comments and several waiver requests: allowing existing angled lot lines (Section 605.A.5), waivers for contour/topographic survey requirements (Section 402.D.2.a) for lots with no immediate development, and waivers for wetlands/PNDI submittal (Section 402.D.2.h.). The PNDI waiver (Section 402.D.2.h.) was withdrawn by the applicant. The minutes record discussion of monumentation being set prior to final plan approval and a requirement that the landowners sign a statement acknowledging their agreement with the submitted plans.
The commission voted to recommend to the Board of Supervisors that it approve the waivers outlined in the applicant's January 6, 2025 waiver letter (except the withdrawn PNDI waiver). A separate motion, made by Dave River and seconded by Kerry Meitzler, recommended Conditional Final Plan Approval to the Board of Supervisors conditioned on the applicant satisfying comments in the HEA review letter. Both motions were recorded as "all in favor." The minutes include a later notation "APPROVED 03/04/2025," indicating subsequent final action on the plan.
