The Eastchester Town Zoning Board of Appeals approved two resolution-calendar variance requests and set further review for three other matters at its June 9, 2026 meeting.
Chair moved to grant variances for front-yard setback and maximum impervious surface coverage for application 26-11 (144 Locust Avenue); the motion was seconded and the board approved the application. The board also granted a rear-yard setback variance for application 26-263 (133 Hutchinson Boulevard); the motion carried on a recorded voice vote.
The board then turned to pending matters that required more review. The public hearing on the Old Wilmont Road application was continued and referred to the Architectural Review Board for design review; the hearing was continued to Sept. 8, 2026. Two interrelated Glen Road applications (for properties at 46 and 54 Glen Road) were also adjourned for resolution at the Sept. 8 meeting and conditioned on submission of a certified survey and supporting diagrams showing impervious-surface and gross-floor-area calculations.
Board members stated the actions followed procedural rules and were based on materials in the record. No members of the public spoke on these items during the meeting.
