Albany County Planning Commission re‑elects chair, approves routine motions and forwards Cicerelle zoning amendments

The Albany County Planning and Zoning Commission met Feb. 11, 2026, and re‑elected Chairman Platt and Commissioner Ben‑David as vice chair before handling several routine and project items.
Commissioner Maselli moved that Chairman Platt remain chair; Commissioner Hinckley seconded, and the motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Ben‑David was elected vice chair after a motion and second likewise approved unanimously. The commission then approved the meeting agenda and prior meeting minutes by unanimous votes.
On land‑use business, the commission voted to recommend that the Board of County Commissioners approve the Cicerelle Zoning District Amendment (ZDA‑12‑25) and the Cicerelle Conditional Use application (CU‑05‑25), adopting the staff analysis, findings of fact and conclusions of law as presented in the staff reports. Both public hearings attracted no public comments.
The meeting closed at 7:32 p.m. The commission set its next regular meeting for March 11, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
