The staff presentation noted a decrease in available funds in some lines (fund 4100 donations and fund 8908 local health maintenance) due to planned spending in 2026.
A motion to accept the 2025 annual report as submitted was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. Later, the board moved, seconded and approved the 2027 health department budget as proposed.
Staff said the jail navigator position just approved would be included in the 2027 budget and agreed to update members with financial reports at the next meeting.
