Work done previously by town crews — stump grinding, replacing a small stretch of water line, and seeding — was described as limited and done for safety and liability reasons; staff said those costs may be billed to the company consistent with the contract. The board confirmed that the company will provide required certificates of insurance to the clerk and will submit event details as required by the town.
The board did not deny the event; it indicated staff would finalize the event permit details with the clerk (sanitary facilities, parking guidance and insurance on file).
