At its April 28 work session, the Salem Township Board approved listing surplus desks, chairs and equipment for sale on the Municibid online auction platform and tabled a separate quote for cubicle removal, storage and reinstallation.
Vice-Chairman Steven Fraind moved, and Road Master John Fogg Jr. seconded, the approval to sell unneeded office furniture and equipment on Municibid. A prior quote from BMC Office Furniture for cubicle removal, storage and reinstallation was tabled until the Board’s regular meeting to allow further review.
The minutes do not list an inventory of items to be sold, reserve prices, or estimated proceeds. The Board recorded approval to proceed with the surplus sale and to revisit the cubicle-removal quote at the regular meeting.
