The commission approved the treasurer’s report and three separate claim dockets at its April 22 meeting. Treasurer balances were reported for several TIF funds, including 421/I-94 #1 ($397,985), KIDC ($172,842), 39 North ($4,942) and 194/35 ($10,000).
The itemized claims docket listed invoices for professional services, utilities and project assistance with a total of $13,981.68. The board approved KIDC claims ($3,472.34), US 421 #1 claims ($8,563.50) and 39 North claims ($1,945.84); each motion passed unanimously.
LaPorte County Planner Mitch Bishop reported one outstanding vendor invoice—$510 for D & M Excavating for solids removal at a lift station—which will be presented for payment at the next meeting.
