Robin (village staff) told trustees the 4‑story hotel design uses masonry facades where visible, complies with code, and is consistent with a previously approved PUD that granted relief on some parking‑space dimensions. The board approved the site plan on a roll‑call vote.

Petitioner Arvin Agarwal introduced himself and said the project will include both Home2Suites and Hampton Inn brands and feature a full‑service bar in the lobby. He described features intended to raise the quality of the property and told trustees Hilton was supportive. Staff noted they had worked on engineering and landscaping details for several months and that any building‑code waivers would be implemented consistent with the building official's review.

As part of the approvals, the board also approved a replat and plat vacation tied to the Crossroads Sports Complex reconfiguration to provide sufficient lot area; the board set public improvement security for the hotel site. No votes against were recorded during the roll call for the site plan and replat motions.
