Finance committee notes Planning Board follow-up on regional dispatch; Pentucket hearing set for Feb. 24

Zosack also noted that a public hearing for the Pentucket Regional School District is set for Feb. 24 and that the committee will post notice for a joint meeting. Town Planner Denise McClure told the committee that the Planning Board’s budget shows only the cost‑of‑living increase and that the Board typically reallocates funds late in the fiscal year to cover legal advertising for proposed by‑law changes; she added that, if the Board faces an overall 20% cut, it would manage by moving funds between lines.
No formal votes or decisions related to the dispatch or the school‑district hearing were taken at the meeting; the items were reported for situational awareness and scheduling.
