Board authorizes lease of township property to New Britain Food Pantry

She told the board the pantry fed more than 8,000 people last year and expects a larger caseload in the coming year as demand grows. Cindy said the pantry serves veterans, seniors, children and working families across the Central Bucks area and neighboring communities.
Board members expressed pleasure that the pantry would remain operational in a larger, more suitable space, and the board voted unanimously to authorize execution of the lease. No rent amount or term was stated in the meeting transcript.
What’s next: The township will execute the lease; the pantry and township staff will coordinate occupancy and any tenant improvements. The pantry asked for continued volunteer support and community awareness.
