Fire Marshal Bill Call presented his report to the Bolton Fire Commission at the April 27, 2026 meeting, summarizing recent inspections and related activities.
Call said inspections were completed for the South Road apartments and that noted violations there have been corrected. He reported that violations at 10, 12 and 14 Carpenter Road have been corrected, inspections at 3 Brandy Street were completed, and five burn permits have been issued since the last meeting. An apartment inspection request for 83 Brookfield Road was also noted, and the marshal reviewed apparatus access related to that address.
Call listed other activities including attendance at a supervisors meeting at Bolton Town Hall, participation in a CRFMA meeting in Ellington, completion of two-day classes in Waterbury for the Fire Marshals Association, and community engagement such as providing lunch to Senior Center staff for poster contest work and attending a poster contest award ceremony in Rocky Hill.
