The Fountain Inn City Council on June 11 approved rezoning of slightly more than half an acre at 701 Fairview Street from GR-1 (General Residential One) to C-2 (Commercial) to permit a multi-occupant salon.
Mr. Bell said the applicant's materials indicate the intended use is a multi-occupant salon; the Planning Commission voted unanimously in favor and no members of the public spoke in opposition at the public hearing. The ordinance passed on second and final reading by voice vote.
Council members offered no additional comments and the measure carried.
