Planning board accepts several applications as complete, grants Mericle extension

At its April 21 meeting the Hazle Township Planning Department accepted multiple submissions as complete for formal review and granted an extension for a Mericle mixed‑use application.
The board accepted Mericle Crossroads Phase 1 Lot 6 as a complete application (motion by Daley, second by Synoski; Daley Aye, Marchese Absent, Synoski Aye). Mericle representative Jeff Deangelo said the filing transfers a small portion of Lot 6 for a sanitary‑sewer pump station and described the plan as a minor subdivision.
The board also accepted an Eagle Rock lot‑line adjustment for Lots 109/110 and accepted the Butler 260 Building 6 preliminary/final major land development as complete. Fred Eagan (NorthPoint) and Joe Stokas spoke for their applicants. For Eagle Rock the vote recorded Daley Aye, Marchese Aye, Synoski Aye. For Butler 260 the roll call recorded all members present voting aye.
Separately, the board granted a 90‑day extension for Mericle SR309B (motion by Synoski, second by Daley; Daley Aye, Synoski Aye, Marchese Absent) to allow the applicant to finish NPDES and sewage‑planning responses. Several larger Mericle Crossroads phases remain under technical review with outstanding county and engineering comments; applicants were directed to continue addressing agency items before returning for final action.
