At its June 9 meeting the Wyckoff Township Committee approved the consent agenda, which included minutes, bill list 26-B10, and resolutions 118–123. Roll call votes were Miss Bugdansky: Yes; Mr. Melkone: Yes; Mr. Shepard: Yes; Mayor Lane: Yes. Mr. Bonstra was marked absent.
Key items approved included a chapter 159 grant (Resolution 119) that inserts $9,523.73 into the 2026 municipal budget to support the police department's bulletproof-vest program; final acceptance and release of retainage for the Pulis Field lacrosse wall project (Resolution 123); recognition of June as Pride Month and authorization to display a Pride flag (Resolution 120); and a 100% disabled-veteran property tax exemption for a Sugarbush Court residence (Resolution 121). The committee also certified that the township received no audit recommendations for 2025 (Resolution 122), marking 14 consecutive years without audit recommendations according to the presentation.
The consent package included authorizations for multiple special events and centennial activities: a Father's Day brew pop-up at Abmas Farm; a Troop 77 flag-retirement ceremony; a temporary banner for Christian Health; Midland Park Gospel Hall outdoor worship; an outdoor NBA watch-party fundraiser at 244 Everett Avenue (with street closures and off-duty police officers planned); and the Wyckoff Centennial Street Fair and Centennial Fireworks Celebration set for Saturday, June 27, 2026, including vendor booths, live music, a beer garden operated under state approvals, and temporary street closures.
The motion to approve the consent agenda passed by roll call; no separate public hearing or separate votes on the listed resolutions were recorded that evening.
