The board also approved supplemental appropriations across departments, including $8,600 for a Southern District Court service contract, $200 to cover Enterprise Zone Fund administration fees, and two Board of Developmental Disabilities entries totaling $37,000 for 2024 repair projects and startup money for a new fund.
In a single vote, commissioners approved payment of county bills totaling $853,340.64. Notable disbursements on the bill list included $496,705.37 to Stanley Miller Construction Co. for Water & Sewer contract work and $110,000 to Frontier Power Co. for equipment listed under the Engineer’s department.
Commissioner Chris Abbuhl, who moved the bill payments, and Commissioner Ress, who seconded, did not request additional item-by-item discussion during the meeting. The board voted 3–0 to approve the expenditures.
