She reported three admissions at Madison Valley Manor (MVM) last week and one at TRMCC, and said two referrals for TRMCC will be followed up by social services. Christine told the committee that delays in occupational therapy are holding up some admissions.
Christine also noted programing connections with the county daycare: staff intend to include residents in a local "leprechaun dash" community event at the end of March, which she called a positive step toward increased resident engagement.
In public comment, Becky Dbor, a registered nurse at Bear Hospital who lives in Sheridan, asked about the status of a staff survey and suggested interviewing former employees to learn why they left and to identify improvements. Becky pressed the county to obtain broader feedback beyond current staff participation.
Committee members acknowledged the concerns and asked staff to follow up on survey participation and on the occupational therapy scheduling that has limited admissions. No formal decisions or actions were recorded during the report; staff will continue monitoring referrals and therapy availability.
