Commission approves addition at 25 Mini Lane with organic-fertilizer condition

Scott Van, the applicant for 25 Mini Lane (parcel ID 08-277), said he had added the corrections requested at the prior meeting: silt fence around topsoil stockpiles, prohibition on in-area equipment maintenance or refueling, and placement of erosion-control cards along the wetlands line. "Those were the four items that were asked of last time," he said.
Commissioners had no further technical questions. A motion to approve the addition and associated grading in the upland review area was moved and seconded. Commissioner Stevens proposed a friendly amendment that any lawn area within the upland review area use only organic fertilizers going forward; the mover and seconder accepted the amendment and the commission approved the motion on a voice vote.
Staff noted that the applicant must comply with the approved erosion- and sedimentation-control measures and that any future work within the 100-foot review area would require separate permit submissions and inspections.
