He urged committee members to attend and support the measure, noting the project faces tight pricing holds and limited appetite for future capital spending if current support is not secured.
Elizabeth, representing library services, offered to add usage and programming metrics to the presentation. She emphasized that upgrades would expand study and programming space and enable a new 24/7 locker service. Glenn noted an open purchase order for lockers already folded into the budget and warned that timing matters because some pricing holds expire late May.
No committee vote was recorded to formally authorize a specific town-council message beyond urging members to attend; committee members agreed the narrative should explain why the exterior work complements prior interior efforts and promotes economic and programmatic benefits.
